The increase in the installed capacity of energy storage power stations also puts forward higher requirements for thermal management, safety and cost of energy storage products. In response to the needs of the market, Vision Group launched a new generation of 5MWh liquid cooling energy storage system. At the beginning of the new year, the first batch of 5MWh liquid cooling energy storage system has started mass production. The new generation 5MWh liquid cooling energy storage system is a full-scenario application solution created by Vision Group based on the technical accumulation in the field of energy storage. The product has passed a series of rigorous experiments and tests to ensure the environmental adaptability and guarantee that it can operate safely, reliably and efficiently. The new generation 5MWh liquid cooling energy storage system features lower LCOS, high efficiency and intelligence, and multi-dimensional safety guarantee , which can satisfy the needs of customers for safety and cost reduction in energy storage applications, and boost the high-quality development of the energy storage industry. Lower LCOS The 5MWh liquid cooling energy storage system adopts high energy density and high safety energy storage specialized battery cell, with cycle life exceeding 12000 cycles, and a lifespan of more than 20 years, resulting in more than 15% decrease in the cost per kilowatt hour. The system adopts standard 20ft container, and the energy density is increased by 34% compared with the previous generation 3.72MWh liquid cooling energy storage system. It supports splicing the container back-to-back, which can save 32% construction area. Efficient and intelligent The 5MWh liquid cooling energy storage system adopts high-efficiency and intelligent thermal management technology, with a temperature difference of <2.5℃ in the battery cell, improving the consistency of the battery cell life cycle and reducing energy consumption by 20%. It realizes intelligent management and full life cycle management such as battery system fault diagnosis, health assessment and early warning through big data, cloud edge collaboration and AI technology. Multi-dimensional safety guarantee The energy storage system is equipped with a battery management system that meets the functional safety requirements of UL60730, which comprehensively monitors, warns and protects the battery cell and the system. The cell-level thermal runaway warning will identify early hidden trouble cells in advance, realizing active safety of the system. It adopts perfluorohexanone fire extinguishing system, and the extinguishing media can realize multiple accurate spraying and stop the heat spreading. The pack-level and cabin-level composite combustible gas detection (CO, VOC, temperature, smoke, etc.) can complete the replacement of hazardous gases in the cabin within 1min with the linkage of the explosion-proof and exhaust equipment, which can further safeguard the the system. In addition, the system is equipped with comprehensive electrical safety prevention which meet the NFPA70E high standard of arc flash safety design, minimizing the possible hazards caused by the arc flash.
